OK, Locke said that you can expand property by consenting to agree in a value of currency.
Can someone explain this even further or give websites/articles?
:)

Hmm...lemme think.
Um..currency is what creates and expands property?
I don't know. I'm kind of confused too. :(

Well, Locke had some innovative ideas on this, ones he filched from Hobbes, and adapted for his own ends.
The best book I know on this is C B MacPherson (1964), The Political Theory Of Possessive Individualism (Oxford University Press).
I cannot recall if it covers this particular topic, but it will supply the necessary background.

Yeah erm, without currency we can't own lots and property, because some of it will spoil, which is a protestant sin. So that, with currency, we can get around this spoilage, and mix our labour (which implies ownership) as much as we would like. Because we can just exchange the wealth of degradeable goods we have created, for money... and we can continue to mix our labour and create more property without anything spoiling.

I have looked up consenting, and it means yielding so
you can expand property by consenting to agree in a value of currency. means "you can expand property by yielding an agreement on its value of currency

I am unsure of what you mean. I am fairly sure, that this is not about currency creating more wealth through M-C-M iyswim

It means that one can buy property from another if they agree on a price.
I'm sure Locke had a simple way of rationalizing that. He probably thought, "if something belongs to someone, then they should be free to do what they wish with it".
