Anyone seen this film? I just caught half an hour or so of it on IFC a minute ago. Set during Paris '68, seemed pretty cool, and I know the director is a Marxist.

Not sure if it was revolutionary. Is it worth seeing the rest of?

I've seen it.

The movie takes place during the 'insurrection', but there isn't much focus on the actual events itself. The story revolves around a sort of love triangle between a twin brother and sister, and a foreigner (American).

The movie is actually pretty decent.. but won't give you much insight to paris 68'.

...its basically communist themed porn with occassional confusing references to old french films and inane political discussions...you should watch it if you 1. really want to see all of the main characters naked in good light for most of the film and 2. have a fetish for 1950s/60s french film and Mao Zedong memoriabilia.

...However...in the last scene of the film the french students defend the blockades and tell the american kid that yes, throwing petrol bombs at the police really is necessary for political change, and thats more amusing...
