Just out of curiosity, could someone explain to me the links between the British Labour Party and the trade unions?

What today or in the 70's etc?

Because today, I doubt they have any links as the're so conservative...

The Unions still make up one of the electoral colleges when deciding Labour Leaders. Many Labor members belong to the unions although their power has decreased with the one member one vote system.

look, TU still have 33% of electorla college, other 33% beiong CLP and other being PLP if im not mistaken

now, get union members in local area to join labour, pack the meetings and boot the motherfuckin right wing out

all u need are 20 ppl and u can deselect the right wing, and install a radical leader, the top still can do fuck all to stop u

and the more this happens more hope it gives the more radical labour will be, allowing more advanced workers into the labour party from which a revolutionary party can be formed
