Yeah, I heard about that. Quite disgusting.

I heard there were also charges of rape...

I felt bad because even though he did attack me and I had a right to shoot him, I still felt bad because I had to take two guys' lives and that affected me in my head because I am a really caring person.
Indeed <_<

Even a Republican denounced this as cold-blooded murder and one of the soldiers is now suing him.

Marine sues congressman for defamation (http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20060802/ap_on_go_co/murtha_suit;_ylt=AjwGzzZLt4TeGPKWMaamcZ2yFz4D;_ylu =X3oDMTA2Z2szazkxBHNlYwN0bQ--)

I think you're confusing this massacre with the massacre in Mahmudiyah which was a different group of US soldiers...there are so many american atrocities in Iraq its easy to confuse them

These guys are trying a Nuremburg defense, basically....as if a war crime could be justified because they had orders to commit it.

The bit about "kill all military-age males" is very remiscent of Yugoslavia...like a lot of things going on in Iraq now.

I believe so; I didn't see a location for the article so I assumed that this was about the latest murder incident.
