Steely Dan have got to be the best (or at least one of the best) band in history.

I never get tired of them. They have the baddest slick jazz-rock fusion and they are the awesomest decadent 70's rock band.

If you guys haven't heard of these guys you must get into them.

I have Aja, and thats not bad, and "Ricky, Don't Lose That Number" is a good song too, but I've never really gotten into them. What would you reccomend as some of their best stuff?

They're allright, but not like bestbandintheworld status. The Aja cd is ok but only for a couple of songs. After that, it gets boring.

They were playing live in my area last week and I thought it would've been nice to treat my dad to see em. $80 tickets though. I don't shit money.

I recommend "countdown to exstasy" especially the song, "king of the world"

Also, "cant buy a thrill" is good.
