Not that I condone the attacks by Hezbollah and Hamas, or their tactics they use, they need to strike back, and do it hard.

perhaps the suicide bombings, although cowardly, are their only real way of hurting Israel?

Either way, something must be done to hurt Israel, because no-one really seems to give a flying fuck about the Lebanese people at the moment.

Apparently, 21 of the civilians were disabled children.

The ZOG of Israel is going too far, and must be stopped.

10 years ago, again in Kana, 150 people in the UN post were bombed and killed, no one dared ask why; and now 57 helpless civillians killed in this new massacre and Rice won't even call for a cease fire!?
People are gonna be angry for about a day or two, heading for the streats and protesting, maybe even using violence as we saw today at the ESCWA, but nothing really is gonna happen.
That is what is depressing me. :(

One thing we can agree on : the media, Western mainly, have been a disgrace in reporting the war crimes committed by Israel.

Its a very similar thing to the massacres at Sabra and Shatila being covered up and glossed over.

Sky News are trying their best, but are limited as to what they can show due to watersheds and Rupert Murdoch. ( Interestingly, one of the presenters was very bothered by what he had seen, and said Al-Jazeera was showing much more graphic images, and said its on Sky Digital, channel 799, live on air).

Its going beyond a joke now, it genuinely seems like no-one gives a shit.

While its not the best thing to say on a forum like this, we have too little power to be heard regarding such matters.

The more left-wing newspapers, such as The Independent, carry the pictures of dead children on their front-page, but it has a relatively small circulation in Britain.

The media in the West is very defensive of Israel. On top of that, it is subtly critical of Arab nations, due to the War on Terror.

At the moment, it is easy to see why a large percentage of Arab nations have an "unfounded" hatred of the West.

The strongest nation on the planet, arming the stronger side, in a war that is targeting civilians.

I'm surprised Iran doesn't do more about this, given Ahmadinejads earlier comments on "wiping out the state of Israel" I was expecting an all out war.

Then again, the majority of Iranians don't give a shit, so I don't think he has the popular support to go to war. If they do go to war, however, I don't think the US will declare war on Iran, given the fact they didn't declare war on the Arab states when they were involved in the Arab-Israeli wars.

Iam not sure, after reading the Greg palast article wich i posted in this forum: "why USA,iran And Saudia Arabia do not want to end the war, it gave me a perspective of the serious amount of money being made. Mayby it is just a game for the galleri we are witnessing. Like Condoleca rice flying from there to there just stalling the process not ending it. The worlds leaders political chess game is hard to understand sometimes but like Greg Palast wrote:"just follow the money".

You don't understand, x_ihag is totaly right. You cannot just grab a gun and go fightbecause:

1- all the roads to the south are blocked
2- if someone tries to go, he would die on the way because of a bombardment
3- he lives in the north, in Tripoli, do you know how hard it is to go from the north to the south on regular days? Its a six hour trip by car on regular days. Its not just grab a gun and face the attacker. They are not under our balconies you know.

By the way, its much better to fight an invading army when they enter your region, you would have a great advantage and would cause more damage.
