I've been lurking for a while and finally have the guts to introduce myself. I'm a southern girl, Anthropology major, stuck in a city where you're either a gangster or a redneck. I love this board.

I'm a southern womyn myself. Your town sounds like where I am. And I'm right in the middle of the fight. Theres been many a KKK rally my group has descended on and disrupted. Many KKKers have been arrested for trying to attack us. So yeah, the eye of the storm is where to be if you are fighting the ignorance.

Tennessee, more like MidSouth I guess, but still full of Southern attitude.
