View Full Version : Free Junk Food

I stumbled across this trick when I found a hair in one of my peeps and I called the manufacturer and complained. They didn't ask to check or anything, just stuff about the barcode and on the box itself. Couple of days later they sent me a pretty large sized box of peeps. Me and my friends have done this to a few different companies and a few different products changing address each time we do it to the same company. If you really luck out they send you a check. But that would mean you have to buy the crud, wrong! Find a cadbury or what comes to your liking wrapper in the garbage on the ground and there should be a consumer line or something of the sort.

God damn capitalism! Is nothing sacred!? :P

Interesting idea though, if I start eating junk food I'll try it.

put some oil into a chip packet and mail it to the producer, say you found your chips covered in it. I got a box of chips by doing this.

Not really. I cook a lot and if I'm going to eat a snack or something I eat some fruit or something deliciously made from a local worker-owned business. I really don't ever eat snacks. I guess sometimes I eat tortilla chips with guacamole :P

If say I wanted some free Cadburys chocolate (and I do :D ), what could I say to them on the phone to get some?

Tell them the last candy bar you bought from them tasted like shit, but most of the time their candy tastes good.

Yep, the key is to make them think that you support them frequently.

Getting free chips and chocolate is for chumps.

Anyone know this scam? Go to a drugstore chain type place, or any store with a lax return policy, for that matter, and pick two items, one that is slightly cheaper than the other. Say you want to exchange the cheaper one for the more expensive one. You should have to pay a little money, but you will get a cash transaction receipt. Wait for another shift, and Voila! Free money, because you have a receipt now.

Fill an empty bottle of diet coke with horses piss and send it back to them saying that it tastes vile and smells funny. They will just write back saying that it is the normal product and nothing is wrong with it.

I'm guessing he ordered them online and said the machine must have fucked something up and they are demented.

I doubt you'd get anything for saying your shoes are 'demented' :D

I sent the company a letter saying that their shoes hurt my feet and the sent me back a letter telling me tha I could pick out a pair of shoes of my choice for free.

I could have theoretically not even purchased any shoes in the first place since they didn't ask for any confirmation of me buying them.

This trick is probably one of the oldest tricks in the book. You just have to make sure that you don't use it too many times at the same place.

Call a company that sells chips (crisps) and tell them you bought a bag of chips, and they forgot to put salt on them. That really happened to me once, and I was pissed. I called and got a cupon for a free big bag. Good times.

I lolled.

Ages ago our music teacher told us that she bought a pack of mini snicker bars and one of them was open so she sent a letter to the company and they sent her another two packets.

I'm still raged that coca cola sent me $1.50 as a refund of my can of coke because it supposedly gave me a rash. Unsalted chips? How did they taste?

Hmm... I wonder if you could do this with power bars. That shit is expensive.

Rollo
3rd August 2006, 11:26
Definetely, tell them that you are a strong user of there power bars and that you buy them a lot and you know when one of them is funky and the one you ate tasted like crap.

The evidance never lies. I have collected so much booty from this scam old as it may be I think I could sustain my hygiene and snack needs completely from doing this.

mcdonalds/burger king joints are the easiest to get free stuff off....find some leftovers or an empty cup and place a couple dead ants/flys( any insect) in there. Go up to the counter and show them and you get a whole free meal . great for when you don't have any food at home
