so here we are. at the recording studio we work at. and couple of the guys, my fellow workers and are complaining about how unprofessional our studio runs. here are the problems.
1-we always have shortage of office materials and such
2-there's a shortage in cables and working equipment.
3-stuff takes a a day or two to get fixed.
we are one of 3 recording studios that they own. and we make them the less money so they kind of leave us to curve as opposed to the other 2 studios that generate more business and money.
my two fellow workers said that we need "a manager" and "authority figuere" so that the place can run better. I took offense to that. and I told them. why do we need a boss to tell us what to do? we know our jobs! we can organized our selves we do fine with out the boss here (my boss comes 3 times a week for 2 hours to check how things are going) then I told them that we dont need someone above us to order us around and make this place run better. we need the resources and support from the front office so that we have everything we need to run more smoothly and professionaly. They didn't agree to that. they said we still need a boss here all the time to keep everything in order and organized.
Why are some people so used the idea of having bosses? or neededing them? beind dependent on them.
