TYRE, Lebanon (CNN) -- The last time I sat down to write something, it was about the cost of war. As I looked ahead to the coming days, the last words I wrote were: Who will die?

Today, I found out.

Standing in front of this 8-year-old boy lying in a hospital bed, the "conflict in the Middle East" and the "cost of war" seem endless and suffocating. His pain cannot possibly be imagined as he shakes uncontrollably in and out of shock. He has blood coming from his eyes.

Mussolini said "War displays man's nobler qualities".

Which just proves what a prick he was.

There's nothing 'noble' about death, it's just death.

Reminds of the time I visited the WWI battlefield sites and visited some of the cemetries.... I couldn't get over how big they were....just miles and miles of headstones...as far as the eye can see.

Here's another incident.

The Israelies just fired a rocket into a Lebanese home, killing 7 civilians.

Officials: 7 killed by Israeli missile (http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20060725/ap_on_re_mi_ea/lebanon_israel;_ylt=Aq2aVtpMhtHYRn.a.bcHVaZvaA8F;_ ylu=X3oDMTA2Z2szazkxBHNlYwN0bQ--)

There was absolutely no reason for attacking this target.

War makes money. Do you think the bourgeoisie gives a damn about human life? From their vantage point the cah is rolling in with every missile fired.
