I was watching MSNBC last night. There was a show on called "crimes caught on tape".

Well in one of the crimes....in New York...a mob of men gathered in central park. For some reason they started assaulting women. Basically, they tore their clothes off, groped them and poured water on them. That isn’t the worst part....the fucking cops dint do shit even though they knew what the fuck was happening. This happened a few years back i believe...

What the fuck is wrong with these people? If I was there I probably would have gotten my ass kicked for defending the women or trying to warn them to get the hell out.

This is where my idea of a peoples militia comes in handy. Since the cops want to sit with their thumbs in their asses and merely ask the assaulted women if "they want to file a report?"...

Imagine about 3 trucks pull up. Suddenly about 30 guys in full urban camo armed with shot guns hop out. And instead of breaking up the crowds, they pull out their batons and just start beating the fuck out of every man within reach.

Why shouldn’t we as the average person be able to do this?

Anyway as far as I know there were about 20 convictions but big deal. Probably no jail time.

Hang on, the police simultaneously sat on their thumbs while also doing enough to ensure 20 convictions? And what exactly are you basing "probably no jail time" on? Have you investigated the cases, maybe even looked at some conviction statistics for this type of crime? Get a brain, moron.

Not that I object to the idea of people stopping such behaviour if they see it (the opposite in fact), but I don't want People's Militia attached to a group of fucking numbnuts vigilante twats who're compensating for shite sex lives and tiny penis' by buying a huge shotgun and waving it in people's faces. Like I said, get a brain.

wellt he cops could do that to, the problem is whenever they do the cops always end up getting cahrged with civil rights violations and being demoted or going to jail. so they don't

Yes thats right...because of amature film of the incident.

I say no jail time because there were 20 out of perhaps hundreds of wild thugs that are better off having their balls riped off.

In a perfect militia these would be highly trained professoinals who have more balls than a NYC cop.

Imagine CHicago back in the 60s and 70s....this shit wouldnt fly.

Actually, their protocol probably required a larger force to come for an interferance. A few cops can't take down a mob.

TheRaven: cops wouldn't get charged. many murders by cops are treated witha a lot of leniency as oposed to if I killed someone. a couple years ago they assaulted my brother and the judge didnt give a shit.

The video was interesting to say the least. Just a few thoughts of my own...

If you are trying to change society, the establishment wont just let you, Democracy be damned. Its only logic.

If the panthers advocate violent revolution to change the system why wouldnt that system act pre-emptively? If you are a North Korean and say "Im going to kill Kim Jong Il" chances are you will be shot on the spot. You dont let the violent guy who threatens to change the society to do it unimpeded. THough this does not mean I advicate what happened to those men.

And, about the assassination chain. THe Nation of Islam killed Malcom X. JFK was killed by who knows...some even say Predident Jonson but he was the same man who passed the civil rights laws. As to the thers, I dotn know the exact circumstanse surrounding their deaths so I'll read into it.

I know here in chicaho there was a short lived movement to have a street named after Fred hampton but the police here so adamently opposed it because Fred Hampton advocated violence toward them. I dont know if its fact though.

But, as I recall, they didn't. They used arms for self-defense and actively intimidated police, who had been violently harassing their communities.

He may have, but the police didn't advocate: they were violent against black communities in chicago and they killed Fred and other Panthers.

It was believed that the U.S. gov't was working with the Nation of Islam to terrorize and eventually assassinate Malcolm X. Note that his death also came at a time when he started to become more open to workign with other revolutionaries.

As for JFK, I've said it before: Lee Harvey Oswald was a communist hero. The "civil rights era" was not some great advancement of our presidency; it was politically necessary, and that's it.
