Have you heard of Ofra Haza?

If you listen to The Sisters of Mercy's song, Temple of Love she is the co-singer on that. She does her own stuff as well, traditional and more modern.

I really like it, shes got a great voice.

You have to check out Yid Vicious and Yair Dalal. One is Klezmer, the other is Iraqi Jewish music, so they're very different from each other.

Ofra Haza rules the hizouse.
