one of the best-organised rallies i've been to in a while. and it's good it was - 12 000 people!

Those pics are from sydney's (Australia) rally, estimated at 15-20,000 people

We had around 500 in Brisbane, maybe 1000 at its hieght (my counting is shit).

Seems like it was a very similar protest to that in sydney, lots of national flag waving, lots of religious overtones, but still very good, and got heaps of media as i understand it.

Totally should consider doing more of these actions, and protests outside US/Israeli consulates or outside major weapons manufacturers for Israel (like boeing, etc)

my friend spoke at one in nz

he said that a guy grabbed the american flag off the us consulate, and waved the palestinian one instead. the cops grabbed him and about 20 people jumped on the cops and wrestled them off

no arrest :P
