A friend showed this program to me two days ago. It uses tags to identify music and then streams you music based on the tags (you can skip songs that you don't like, etc...). It's shown me a SHITLOAD of new artists.

I'll admit I dont' know anything about the company behind Last.fm or anything, but it's a fucking great program. So much new music!

Yeah, I've sort of passively used it for a while, so do some people from rebel alliance, no one has set up a group yet though.
It's fun to set up the plugin(s) and look at the stats it generates.

Never seen this before, but I joined (as Dystisis) since it looked interesting.

We should set up a group of some sort..?

I've only used it for two days and I haven't really spent the time to learn anything yet. Any plugins or anything that are a necessity?

Those are the artists that I listen to most.

Err, the plugins, you need to go to the tools page, then the downloads tab, then download Last.fm, it'll d/l and installer, run that, enter your details, and it should pretty much install the plugin(s) for each of the media players you have, for me it installed the Winamp, iTunes, and Winblows Media Player plugins.

I just found last.fm by accident tonight through a google search and remebered I had ignored this thread. woops.

this is pretty badass. I'm gonna hve to wait till I get my laptop before I can take advantage of it though.
