It's difficult to find non-biased reviews/discussions about film makers such as Milos Forman, Jiri Menzel, Jan Kadar and Vojtech Jasny (whose film Az prijde kocour I recently saw introduced me wonderfully to this particular topic).
The cultural hurricane in Czechoslovakia in the 60's until the repression of spring '68 allowed deep philosofy-embebbed social allegories to appear on celluloid.
Unfortunatelly, these films are commonly being used as an exuse for anti-communist blah-blah-blah, which is rather annoying.
So I'd like to open a debate on this particular generation of Czech film makers.
