Yeah me. I have loved them for years. When I heard scum I was blown away. Very anti-capitalist.

My one regret is never seeing them live, I shall have to remedy that someday. On the other hand I seen Kreator years back, they are relly good and left-wing aswell.

Yeah; Napalm Death, Carcass, Assuck, Unseen Terror, Brutal Truth, Repulsion, Doom.... all those old-school grind/crusty bands are very cool in my book.

You should get ahold of the Demos that compromise the 2nd CD of the re-release of "Horrified", they are very amazing (especially the first three songs!). You can tell the impact that Schuldiner had on them (the key Repulsion members merged with Chuck for a while... and then parted) and, in my opinion, it wasn't a very positive one.
I'm not going argue that their music wasn't amazing - but if you listen to Death's demo's (which, by the way, is Death's best material by far) you can hear a similar approach; I don't know if my copies of the demos have anything where the Repulsion guys were playing with them, so I don't know if they influenced Chuck also, but I'd assume it wasn't the case if you look at the Technical approach Chuck took so early in his career.

I'll have to check it out. Thanks for the heads up.

RIP Chuck. I seen Death live twice. One time Chuck Schuldiner and 2 other members never turned up. The other time he anounced a break and refused to come back out if people didn't stop stage diving. He was temperamental but he was musical genius. I was shocked when I heard he had passed away.
You can listen to the peel sessions for Napalm here; http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/johnpeel/artists/n/napalmdeath/
Not all the sessions are there but hopefully more will appear.
