How bad was it? and Capitalist came up with it? I heard that they didn't. It was acutally left wing groups that settle for a certain amount and they invented minum wage.

capitalism only accepted the minimum wage as a concession to the working class, in order to pacify us. These concessions are designed to keep them in power, whilst keeping us happy, but we on this board know that concessions will never be good enough and that destroying the capitalist system is mandatory.

Very bad.

Capitalists didn't want it but saw it as a necessary concession in order to prevent further upheaval.

There was no minimum wage in the UK until a few years ago. It wasnt uncommon for untrained workers to be doing jobs for <£1 an hour, particuarly those from minorities

The minimum wage was won as a right when the working class attained trade-unionist consciousness.

Basically, before the workers had attained this level of consciousness, they were completely subjected to the capitalist, in terms of working conditions that is.
