Hospitals lack essential things like medicine. People have to buy medicine, when it is supposed to be free.

And when the journalist confront Chavez about this, Chavez answers like a true politician, cleverly avoids teh question and the guards pull the journalist away.

Well, Chavez has promised a lot of things that he has never really delivered. A lot of it is just rhetoric.

Chavez is one man, with a lot of faults. His ideology is still social-democracy with some rhetoric about imperialism now and again.

What matters is the grassroots Bolivarian revolution - they're who we should be supporting.

I've heard that there are general health missions that provide free medical treatment but they're run down and not very large despite all of Chavez's talk.
