I've talked to some mainstream folks in other forums about more of a libertarian socialist society where people are in power, and own, control and direct the economy. And people who come up with new inventions and such, will be rewarded. They do seem interested, and here are some of the questions:
These are the questions they want answers on:
How is the economy directed by the people?
How is the reward decided?

Has it happened that non-communists have tried planned economy?
