Samuel you are so right, all Fidel does is smoke cigars, delegate and what was that? Read the book Guerilla Warfare by Guevara. Even if only the first chapter.

Whilst I'm sure your being a bit 'tongue in cheek' with your post, you shouldn't underestimate Fidel's contribution to the Cuban Revolution. ;)
For a start he organised it.
He was imprisoned several times before he and the others set sail in the Granma and was personally involved in a lot of the fighting.
The only problem I have with Castro was his unwillingness to push the revolution forward into other areas. He dug in...and defended what he had.
I can't blame him for doing it, but it was still a missed opportunity, in a real communist revolution there is no stopping, until we've all won.
and as for him smoking cigars..what do you expect him to smoke in Cuba, rollies?
Havana cigars are the finest in the world.
I don't even smoke and I wouldn't mind one right now. :D

The regime in Cuba has been involved in most countries in Africa, and quite a lot of nations in South and Central America and in the Carribean (the Dominican Republic as early as 1959, for instance).

Why would anyone ever want a picture of that foul, disgusting dictator anyway? He's not even there by popular support. And dont gimme this bullshit about how the mojaority of Cubans like him, because they know they'll get shot if they say otherwise.

You say that anyone who opposes Fidel gets shot. That means that either you are lying(which you are), or that only 3 people have opposed Fidel over the last few years.

Of course I was being sarcastic when I said "every person" seeing as how that would be nearly impossible. But, only the bravest are daring enough to voice their opposition to him because they know what could happen to them.
