I was wondering, are all political parties that use red as their colour comunist? Like Labour in the Uk and the US Republican party both use red, and are imho very comunist orientated - is this true of all red parties?

No. The color red is not monopolized by the communist movement.
and are imho very comunist orientated
 Are you serious? The Republican party is in no way communist oriented. They are almost as anti-communist as a mainstream party can get.

Fascists mainly have brown.
what colour is then?
Colors are just colors. They are meant to symbolize something of that nation or movement finds significant or part of it's history. However, communist flags are generally completely red as opposed to the republican party's.

black - islamic/fascist/anarchist
red - communist
red + black - anarchist/anarcho-communist/anarcho-syndicalism
yellow - liberalism
green - islamic/ecological
brown - fascist
white - christian
blue - conservative
purple - monarchist
look on wikipedia and it should give you an idea of which colours are used by whom and why.

oh, i could of sworn i saw blue facists? maybe i'm thinking of castle wolfenstien and other concentration camps etc. oh are they? so all countries with red flags are comunist states? that does work because places like france, britain and america have partly red flags to represent their partly comunist nature.?

White is also used by the royalty...
And yellow is a capitalist colour. (At least in anarcho-capitalism - their flag is yellow and black split down the diagonal.)

Colours are just colours! Almost all Communists use Red, but just because someone used Red it doesnt make them a communist.

so all countries with red flags are comunist states?
First of all, there are no communist states.
that does work because places like france, britain and america have partly red flags to represent their partly comunist nature.?
No, communism is a classless and therefore stateless society.
Look at the USSR or the PRC's flag. Their flags are covered in red while other countries only have small portions of red which is meant to signify different things. Generally, the red is meant to symbolize blood or sacrifice and is supposed to be a revolutionary color as opposed to white.

Labour in the Uk use red because they were originally a party for the workers and quite left-wing. Obviously there political stance has changed alot especially under Bliar's 'New Labour' but they cant exactly change colour, its tradition and Tory has blue, also many Labour MPs and followers would argue that Labour is still a worker's party.

I'd be suprised if there are more than a dozen new labour MP's who've read the manifesto 9communist, not NuLab)

You're probably right.
Blair used to be a trot so he probably has.
Then there's Reid and Straw but...seeing as they were Stalinists they probably haven't read Marx :P (http://www.wsws.org/articles/2004/nov2004/stra-n29.shtml)
However what is worrying is the young, new members of New Labour who have read the Manifesto and who are [potentially] Marxists with good intentions. I know these two guys (17/18) who support New Labour because they think they can change it by reformism into a communist party! It's a total waste of two good potential comrades in some ridiculous party which hasn't a chance of ever being reformed. :(

I've also seen yellow used by many christian conservatives.
Like it's the "warm" color (Jesus is supposedly warm and good and shit like that...)
