18may,
i've got excellent news!but first some information.
18may there were elections in belgium we have to vote for the chamber(with tribunes(for the people))and for the senatory(i hope you understand this)
so in the chamber the liberals won with 0;1% more then the socialists and in de senatory the socialist won with about 1% more then the other party's so actually the socialists and liberals won both.now we have a purple government(liberals=blue and socialists=red)last year they were the 2th bigest party and now suddenly the biggest!isn't that great.viva socialismo!de PVDA(communistic party)has got 1,2%
BUT HEY THE SOCIALISTS WON TOGETHER WITH THE LIBERALS.MAYBE NEXT YEAR ONLY A RED GOVERNMENT,
ive got some bad news 2.those lose right winger racists(vlaams blok)have got more % 2 about 20 and the socialist 25%

good elections enough for me

does this mean I can call belgium socialist now. I really want to be able to call 1rst world european countries socialist, but the only one I can say that about is Finland.

One more question, is this bougiouse socialism, or real socialism?

i dont think the SP.A(socialists )wil work with the communists because about 10 years ago cummunistic LSP and SPA were togheter but the part spa dindnt really like all the thing about marx so now lsp=marxists and SPA=socialists but in 4 years(next elections)the socialitst are gonna group together with 3 pârty's
I JUST LOVE IT ++>BELGIUM SOCIALISTIC

Congratulations, onfurtunatly the extreme right has won some ground too on the battlefield of voters.

PVDA, Partij van de Arbeid (Workers Party), I thought they weren't communist, rather centre left.

In Holland we don't have a government

The story is that since the LPF (rightwinged) appeared they won massive ground through blaming everything on foreigners and compromises with other right winged parties, like the VVD (centre-right).

When they won the elections, they had to put a government together with the CDA (ChristianDemocrats) and VVD, but their points of view were to different from each other andso they didn't manage to put a government together.

Furthermore their leader (Pim Fortuyn) was onfortunatly shot by a comrade and the party leader were constantly argueing.

So it caused their breakdown.

Lol, I'm a lil' of topic.

Anyway keep up the good work.

The media here won't show it because they can't tell the people that socialism lives on... It would be a defeat if a country turned towards a Marxian point if view...

Besides, the media would rather spend that air-time on advertising to stuff their wallets.

Are they actually going to build a socialist economic system in Belgium? Or is this just another Lula Party? I hope it is NOT the latter...
