Hi everyone. I'm an Anarchist from Duluth, Mn. I joined in hopes of being able to talk to like-minded individuals about, well, anarchism. I have recently read Noam Chomsky On Anarchism, have read various Emma Goldmann articles, and have also read many random anarchist papers, reviews, critiques, and zines from my state as well as others. I also plan on reading Robert Nozick in the near future. I hope to have a good experience here and just want to say hi.

Welcome. FIrstly though, Nozick is a capitliast and not an anarchist. While I would recomend reading his [i]Anarchy State and Utopia{/i], it does have a few (a lot) of flaws.

If I remember I'll post a link to an essay I wrote about it once.

Hey! You might want to read Anarchy (http://www.libcom.org/library/anarchy-malatesta) by Errico Malatesta, God and the State (http://marxists.org/reference/archive/bakunin/works/godstate/index.htm) by Bakunin, and prole.info (http://prole.info).

God and State is a very well-written book, very influential in sophisticating some of my views about religion, yet I find Lenin's "State and Revolution" A much more comprehensive work criticizing the nature of a state

Basically:
When there is state there can be no freedom, but when there is freedom there will be no state

Welcome to RevLeft.

We don't have many Minnesotans around or you would be seeing a lot more "okey-dokeys". :P
