I just finished watching a three part series on the "extreme left" (mostly left labourites, trotskyites and ecological types) in the 70's. It is really good and i would recommend people to watch! Any one seen it? If you haven't torrent links are provided.
Episode 3: A Lot of Balls (http://www.chomskytorrents.org/TorrentDetails.php?TorrentID=970) This episode is about a bunch of socialists who get 6.3 million dollars to make a revolutionary newspaper, and how this project uterly fails because of the usual infighting.
Episode 2: Angry Wimmin (http://www.chomskytorrents.org/TorrentDetails.php?TorrentID=969) This torrent is not quite downloaded for me yet so i havent seen it.
Episode 1: Property Is Theft (http://www.chomskytorrents.org/TorrentDetails.php?TorrentID=968) This is about how revolutionary socialists move into empty buildings (squatting) and try to create a community but eventually the government destroys many of the houses and the project looses steam. It's interesting when the film makers ask the lefty squaters if they still hold their left wing beliefs.
