Is anyone here a member of greenpeace international, or at least subscribed to theit news letter?

I suscribe to their newsletter. That's not the most powerful way for a change but that's better than nothing. It shows to the people of greenpeace that we support them and their actions.

I am gonna join some day, maybe start a local Greenpeace group, if I don't get too backed up in CPSPH (communist party st. pete high)

They get 20 dollars out of checking account every month. Great organization with some balls so to say.

They really won me over when they did a block out of a port with ships to stop weapons or nuclear waste, I can't remeber now. That takes a lot of courage.

They inspired Earth First, they are a big group of eco-terrorists.
They do things like tree spiking, living in trees that re going to be cut down, shut down oil tankers, etc.

I prefer the term, Eco-Liberators, Eco-protectors or Eco-freedom Fighters. ;)

think you will find there are a couple of greenpeacers in here with you. i feel its really really important to have a group of this scale working with the grassroots.

Ecoterrorists. Now that sounds cool. Think of it...it's the Dubya buzzword. It's a group of people that stand for everything Dubya doesn't. It's the perfect name!

The name is not really important if you know what you must do and if you do it.
Like CubanFox said, everyone who stand for something other than capitalism, greed and fanaticism is considered as a terrorist by the u$ government.

i have been supporting greenpeace for like 2 yrs. they take 15 a month from my debit account. i like em. they are extreme (like PeTA), which i love. they want to protect the environment and will stop at nothing to do so.
