Let's disscuss the many anthems of communism anarchism, socialism, etc.

Revolutionary songs (French) (http://www.deljehier.levillage.org/chan_rev.htm)

MP3 collection L'internationale in over 30 languages (http://www.hymn.ru/internationale/index-en.html)

I think this should be a sticky
let's see how it goes
I could even in the future organize a list of links to all the great leftist and revolutionary songs on the internet

I like the idea. It would be convenient, if nothing else.

Thanks for this thread! Those songs both are inspiring and bring back memories. I guess the Internationale is for me what a national anthem is for some (retarded) dudes.

Btw, I wonder what could be suitable as the anthem of Anarchist Technocracy. Any suggestions, Haraldur and others? :D

If a new song was to be made it should be composed by Jarre..

Red music hosted by the CPRF website -- http://www.cprf.ru/history/songs/

It was only recently that I learned that the Communist International had its own theme song. It's included on this page.

Well, the Internationale is always a good bet (we could have our own words! The Spanish have a seperate Internacional Anarquista after all, as well as a Leninist one). If you mean a tune more specific to Anarchist Technoracy, I have no idea. Possibly a new one.

Who is Jarre?

Who is Jarre?

Jean-Michel Jarre (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jean_Michel_Jarre) is a great french composer, son of dito Maurice Jarre. He has also been one of the true pioneers of synth and electronic music.

He still tours the world, and his unique, spectacular concerts cannot really be compared to anyone elses (he once turned the entire city of Houston, Texas in to a concert, at new years eve 2000 he appeared at the Pyramids, etc).

His music is just awesome, like from another world. He isn't really political as far as I know, though, but perhaps he could be convinced to make us an anthem anyway, after the revolution.. :D
