I'm sure many of you have read at least one of Michael Crichton's books. Even those of you too young or ignorant to read have seen his books adapted to movie formats.

The guy does his research before writing a novel. I have to respect him for that.

I hope each of you who are not illiterate will read a written version of a recent speech he made.

You can find it at www.crichton-official.com Simply click on the "speeches" cookie and enjoy the one with the word "complexities" in the title.
I would enjoy your takes on the speech/article.

Why is this thread entitled 'Homosexuals, Overpopulation, & Global Warming' when the article you're referring to does not mention 'Homosexuals' at all?

Oh and can you please respond in the 'Islam And Homosexaulity' thread?

MrWhiteMan or Michael Crichton? Because you could probably make a case for both :P

I read Crichton's speeches and I don't really see what point he's trying to make. To make his point that certain environmental issues are unimportant, he tackles mainstream media rather than actual scientific sources.
