we often get sent free albums/dvds/books/tickets to gigs and plays etc. cos they want us to review them for our magazine (we never do :P) and there were about 20 cds in our mailbox cos we hadnt checked them in a while so i brought them all home and had a listen. one of them was ursula rucker's "ma'at mama". was hooked at the first track cos shes a spoken word artist and i love spoken word, and by the second track is was quite obvious that she had revolutionary tendencies.
