Are there any political refugees in Cuba, that are not from South/Central America?
Any political refugees from the United States?

Assata Shakur, I believe some other Black activist have taken asylum there too.

there are actually a few dozen from the usa, probably plenty from latin america, and i know there are some from haiti, puerto rico, the dominican republic, grenada, and jamaica. less than i would have imagined, but sizeable numbers nonetheless

Yes, Cuba shelterin american "terrorists" is one of the biggest justifications for listing them as state sponsors of terrorism...of course the reality is that Cuba doesn't have an extradition treaty with the US so it has no reason or legal mechanism for sending back US radicals...and the US wont sign one because then they'd need to send back cuban terrorists.

Huey was there in the 70's to escape a murder rap and also Eldridge was there.
Also Robert F. Williams, influence to Huey and author of "Negroes with Guns" was there to escape the FBI...he had a radio show there that was shut down by the Cuban government incidentally.
