I don't know if this was ever brought up only because I hardly ever post here anymore but I try.

Anyways, I was at a Connecticut SDS meeting that aimed to get all the CT SDS chapters together and talk of action. There seems to be a lot of hype of this new SDS. There is also the national conference taking place soon.

Has anybody been getting involved with the SDS?

If so what are your feelings on it?

I'm actively involved right now. I'm part of a chapter with weekly meetings and steadily growing membership. We decide, as a chapter, what our stances on individual issues will be as well as what actions to take. We've participated in everything from blocking military shipments out of our port to rallying against nazis (this monday).

I like SDS.

I'm a member, but I live to far away from an actual chapter. I guess I'm an autonomous SDS agent.

Im in it. I was very suprised to find an ARKANSAS branch. thats right, arkansas. smack dab in the bible belt. Owell just glad im in it.
