Orwell would be so proud..

Palestinian “Terror:”

· Palestinians attacking an Israeli military outpost.
· Palestinians taking an Israeli soldier as a prisoner of war.
· Palestinians saying that the prisoner is being cared for.
· Palestinians offering a prisoner exchange, to free imprisoned Palestinian women and children.

Israeli “Counter-Terror:”

· Total Israeli economic and financial blockade, cutting off food and medicine, to 3.5 million Palestinians.
· Israeli military attacks that destroyed the major bridges in Gaza.
· Israeli air strikes that destroyed the main electrical power station in Gaza; as a result over a million people will be without electricity for months.
· Israeli air strikes that destroyed water pumping stations in Gaza; as a result clean drinking water will not be available for most people. With the summer heat and no electricity, this means epidemic diseases and high infant mortality.
· Raids in the middle of the night to kidnap and disappear any Palestinian Israel chooses, regardless of age. Since the beginning of the year over 1,700 Palestinians have disappeared into Israeli prisons. Many of them, never charged with anything.
· Keeping over 10,000 Palestinians in Israeli jails, many of them for over 20 years, with no charges.
· Keeping 360 Palestinian children (under 10 and more than 200 women in Israeli jails, subject to torture and abuse.
· Killing over 40 Palestinian civilians, this month alone. In one attack alone an entire family was wiped out, including children and infants.
· Open threats to assassinate Palestinian leaders including political leaders recently elected to office.

Not just Orwell, but Joseph Goebbels would be very proud.

You convienantly forgot the suicide bombins in that first list. Not that its a patch on the slaughter the israelis are practicing, I just find it pays to be honest in your claims.

Suicide bombings have nothing to do with the ongoing Zionist onslaught against the Palestinian people. There haven't been any in a while. Not even the terrorist Kadima party is touting this as a veneer for their siege, so I don't know why you are bringing this up. You must be brainwashed.

Are you a Dead Kennedys fan, by chance, Emp Ronald Reagan?

· Palestinians taking an Israeli soldier as a prisoner of war.

Prisoner of war? Was there a war going on when the soldier was kidnapped?

If Taiwan decided to kidnap a Chinese soldier, don't you think that is a declaration of war?

I don't think this is anything compared to, for example, totalitarian regimes wanting for humanity to be something like, 'a boot stamped on a human face - forever'.

Heaven is a world with no U.S., no, China, no Russia, and no Middle East.

Hell is where the fuckers run everything.

Interesting. Do you have any documentation?

Israeli planes destroy infrastructure in Gaza Strip as tanks start an incursion into Rafah (http://www.palestine-info.co.uk/am/publish/article_18919.shtml)

"Palestinian citizens living in Al-Shoukeh town near Rafah were forced by those troops to leave them at gunpoint, after which, the IOF troops occupied those homes and turned them into military barracks."

"PCHR's preliminary investigation indicates that at approximately 01:45 on Tuesday, 27 June 2006, IOF conducted a number of air raids using fighter jets and helicopter gunships on civilian installations in the Gaza Strip. The raids completely destroyed two bridges on the Gaza Valley, one on Salah El-Deen Road and the other on the coastal road. These two bridges connect the northern part of the Strip with the center and south. A secondary bridge was also destroyed. Transportation to and from the north of the Strip has been completely cut off as a result, threatening people's lives and security by depriving them access to health and educational institutions. The aerial bombardment also destroyed the main water pipe feeding Nuseirat and El-Bureij refugee camps. Furthermore, panic was caused among civilians, especially children and medical patients by bombardment, mock air raids and sonic booms over the Strip.

In addition, IOF planes bombarded the Gaza Strip's only electricity generation plant, located to the north of Nuseirat refugee camp. Key sections of the plant were completely destroyed and fires broke out throughout the plant. The bombardment has cut electricity off for nearly half the population of the Gaza Strip. The bombardment destroyed the six main generators that provide 45% of the electricity needs of the Strip. Restoring the plant and resuming its operations could take up to 6 months and at a cost of approximately $15 million US."

The thing about the suicide bombers is that they cant fight "clean". The Palestinians have no bombers, no tanks, no conventional military defenses whatsoever...
Its and awfully unfair battle, rocks cant beat tanks, so the palestinians use what means they have, suicide attacks...

The thing is, you cant really blame them, how can you judge someone for blowing other people up when his family was killed, his lands were taken away, and is national pride is stepped on a daily basis?

Now dont get me wrong, i dont support suicide attacks, yet more than anything i cant stand imperialism, and wither you like it or not suicide attacks are a form of response to the zionist war machine....

Speaking of Orwell, i think the dude was a asshole, not only did he liked to call himself some sort of underrated socialist, he did bluff many communists and socialists in the UK.. the thing about Orwell is that all he did was criticize all forms of socialism and thus making the good old capitalist machine look not so bad in comparison with his little twisted idea of socialism....
