Bush Has No Authority

He has no authority to go against the Geneve convention. Conservatives can argue in saying that they're terrorists and have no rights but that is the same as an American enemy saying that Marines do not deserve the rights of the Geneve convention. America signed the convention and they have to stick by it.

We can all ***** and moan about them breaking international laws but it wont help.

What we need, is China or the DPRK to invade another country and use the exact same speech and lies that bush did, Because it would be very very interesting to see how america would respond when they are on the outside looking in.

It would be even funnier if the Chinese government captured innocent Americans on Chinese soil, held them without charges or trial and gave them a tribunal. I would LAUGH. It would absolutly hilarious. God damn Bush, you're fuckin' yourself in the end. I only see bad in the end for America, thank god I live in Canada, where we have a minority Government to keep our Conservative leader in check or else he gets fucked the next year. We still have alot of work to do, The conservatives are a scary prospect as well as the liberals.

But yah Ive said it before, America will collapse within the next 15 years, I mean there is no way they can contiue this trend with the way their economy is.

Not really. If China were to invade Taiwan, the US would probably denounce them but continue trading with China and if North Korea invaded South Korea, the US would also vehemently oppose it.

When you look at what Russia is doing in Chechnya or what Israel is doing in Palestine, there is evidence there of how the US would react if another country used the same reasons for an invasion. It would just depend on whether that nation were its ally or not.

I concur with Ferg- it would indeed be hilarious to see Bush and Co. spin a Chinese take-off on his policies! Tony Snow would be having kittens trying to figure out how 'they are bad' and 'we are good' when invoking the exact same policies.

Even better, if the Americans in question (not that I want anything bad to happen to our citizens) were held completely incommunicado I can imagine the horror stories the MSM would be concocting. BUT, if they were held having every comfort in the world EXCEPT being able to communicate with the outside world, how stupid would THAT make Bush look when the horror stories were proved to be hysterical propaganda!!

I think its very important that he be criticized on his repreated usage of chauvinistic language. He says he is a Maoist, he should be able to take a bit of self-criticism here.

point taken but he wasen't using the word ***** in a sexist way nor was he using moan in a sexist way, he was just using them as a harsher way of saying comlain to get his point across better.

Oddly though he still does. Tells you something about the 'one law for the rich and another for the poor' (rich and poor here not used in the sense of wealth, although dubya is very rich, it's just the Geneava convention seems to apply to some other rather rich people.). Then again everyone here knows (or should know) this already.
