1. Why are communists/anarchists typically opposed to voting. I have heard that voting does nothing, but evidence does seem to suggest the contrary. On the other hand, it can do bad things. Why choose an oppressor? Well, one might be a bit nicer, and you are going to get one anyway. Although I am still against voting, those are the kind of arguments I am having difficulty countering.

2. What is religion, on a fundamental level, wrong and improper in a communist society? Not banning it - but discouraging it, at least. What can be done to convince people that religion, belief in God, and such things are detrimental to the movement?

3. Marxist theory seems to suggest after class structure is removed, everything falls into place. People have no reason to be racist, sexist, or homophobic. Am I getting this wrong - because I have seen indications that people here believe this. If that is the case, does anyone have something to convince me. It's fine and dandy to believe Marx was brilliant and the idea sounds solid, but where is the proof?

4. From an anarchist perspective, was Karl Marx an authoritarian. Was the dictatorship of the proletariat a vanguard party? If not, what was it. Although anarchists are sceptical of centralization, I think, assume the proletariat has direct 100% control over that centralization, such tactics can be used to improve the efficiency of production. I am against the centralization of power (representation and vanguard parties) rather than centralization in all its forms. However, maybe I am wrong on that , too?

5. This may be opinion - or not - but can an anarchist be a marxist?
