The Real Man Forum (http://www.therealmanforum.proboards22.com)

Now I know what you are thinking, "Real man forum? That must be total all american patriot, conservative." you are infact, wrong. The name is a joke that stems out of another board known as totse. We are a cell, that broke off from totse. We are currently 18 members strong at the time of posting and are looking for people to join. There is no politics on the forum just discussion on everyday stuff.

What do you mean by 'political relief'?

Don't really fancy i'd get much relief hanging out on a forum for 'real men', sounds kinda stuffy.

Like I said, the forum name is a totse joke. By political relief i mean a forum that doesn't talk about politics all day.

What's 'totse'?

And yeah, non-political forums, i posted on one of those for a few years back, dont really see the point - 95% of the members are immature, highschool boys - non-political discussion is good, but i get kinda of sick of reading all the homophobia, sexism, racism etc. to really bother, rather just chat with progressives in chit-chat or msn etc.

Why? I checked the board, it is heavily oriented towards stereotypical males, cars, sport and video games are run-of-the-mill teenage boy banter, and stuff like this description for the sex forum, 'Wanna know what turns girls on, wanna be a REAL sexmachine?' just reinforce the male perspective of the forum (unless of course that description was aimed at gay womyn?). That and i dont think with a name like 'the real man forum' they're gonna be attracting many female members, or many progressive men - even if it's a joke.
