I dont know if this should be in the Opposing Ideologies section, but the other day I was searching the internet trying to find out creationists believe what they believe, or at least how they back their beliefs up, when i came across this cartoon thing. Some of you may have seen it before.

Can you guys look at it and tell me if any of the thing the creationist in it says is true or if it is just made up to make evolution look like a sham. Thanks

Evolution is the changing of lifeforms in order to adapt to changes within their environment, so why should we belive that some "god" just decided one day to create a whole universe? Evolution is true because we humans, and all other living creatures, have evolved over time, although it seems that religious people are an exception.

There are not six basic concepts of evolution. Evolution is a biological theory, not a theory about the origin of life or the universe. Micro- and macro-evolution are the SAME THING. Creationists only separate them to make justifications for their beliefs.

The Creationist brings up interesting points, but he only picks and snipes at the uncertaintys of evolution, when his beliefs make little more sence.

For instance:
The Cosmic, Chemical, Star, Organic theorys of evolution have not at yet been prooven, but is "God created everything in 7 days" a more reasonable and intelligent theory? Fuck no!

Though the comic makes good arguements against evolution, its still just filthy Christian Propaganda with no value but to keep Christians wrapped up in their own blanket of denile. :lol:

Evolution is not a complete theory, and, as far as I know - does have some holes in it.

Like for example, it was believed that evolution is a gradual process of small and suttle changes. But, if that is applied to humans for example, fossils could not be found which show this gradual change. A new theory was developed called natural selection which says major and sudden changes come about - if good - will procreate - if a failure, will simply die (because they are a failure). This fits fossil evidence because fossils have been found to go by this.


But, about the cartoons - well - that little blond creation, perfect master race looking dickhead is contradicting himself alot!

He states that "gluons" (whatever the fuck they are) are a "made up dream, no one has ever seen or measured them.....they dont exist".

So, he seems rational enough, not believing what he has never seen or measured.

And then he goes bolloxing on about God, Heaven, Creationism and the power of prayer - all without ever been seen, all without ever been measured - all without a scratch of scientific, historical and observable evidence!!!

The only thing that can be concluded about the hitler youth wannabe child, is that he has been brainwashed and is therefore mixing true scientific fact and reality with that of his cult leader, Jesus Christ, and his fiction.

Im no scientist, but about those "gluons". Gluons, I suspect are a missing part to make a valid evolutionary theory - there is nothing wrong with creating temporary/imaginary links in a theory in order to bring things together.

Atoms, for example, have only been seen recently using electronic measuring devices and were "unprovable" to a point. But, to create a possible theory and put the jigsaw together - they were "made up" to join things together until they could be proven to exist.

Its exactly like doing a jigsaw puzzle, you put the pieces together bit by bit, some of them might be missing in the middle - but you know, even though you havnt seen that particular missing piece - that it logically must exist and is somewhere - its just a matter of time before you discover it.

Most probably the same as "gluons".



Finally - evolution, with its many holes - tries to discover, and advance our understanding of existance and how things come about - it should be on the offensive, not the defensive.

Creationism - with even more holes than evolution (because it just simply cant be proven that a God created anything until that God himself comes forth and shows us) is reactionary, and bases itself entirely on an outdated book with no rational understanding of anything.

To accept creationism is to accept the earth was completely flooded by God in a single day and every thing was destroyed except a big massive boat with all the animals on earth on it.

Proof please?

Any geological basis for this? - NO.

Any basis for anything these fucking God suckers say? - NO.

Even if evolution is wrong or incomplete - that dosnt make creationism right. It just means no other good understanding and theory is available.

At least the pro-evolution camp dont sit back an take the fairy tale stories of creationism - they are making an effort.
