Ameritheid

Fellow RevLefters,

I have had this idea in my mind for quite some time, and a month ago I got the ball rolling by purchasing some hosting and a website. I want to create a database of profiles, profiles of society, showing the very real threat of inequality in american society. The website, dubbed
Ameritheid (http://www.ameritheid.com) (referring to Apartheid, but in America), is in its very beginning stages. I have only come out with one profile thus far and it is not very well done. I am now making revisions to figure out what would make the profiles better. Different structure? Different questions?

Where you guys come in... I would love ANY help I can get with this. You can do your own profiles/pictures in your area (I would love this), you can help me by suggesting a beter interview structure, suggest questions, suggest anything really, help with the construction of a better website, etc... I really would love any help at all. The people I started it with have "other things" going on, and I figure that a place like ths, where people are actually willing to take action, would be the best place to go.

I think he means that the term ameritheid is offensive because South Americans should also be referred to as Americans also, even though US citizens are usually the only people called Americans at least in the US, and that people might think Ameritheid takes place in South America... maybe

Hey ill work on one here in geneva, plenty of inequality. dont put it ina different section though, itd be slightly unfair if a whole chiunk of the world was just placed in the "other" bin...

Yeah, the name "Ameritheid" doesn't lend itself to international inequality, but who am I to say no? I won't create another section.
