I am a huge fan of Manga, but does anyone else read it?




My favorite series is Gun Smith Cats, because of the action and the situations they go through.

Indeed, but I think that enters the catagory of Anime rather then Manga.

I was told by friend who is a Japanese culture enthusiast that Manga is more violent and Anime is more childish. For example, Evangelion is Manga, Pokemon is anime.
I like Yaoi!!!!!!!

Actually, 'Man' (pronounced mung) means comic and 'ga' (just ga) means book.

Evangelion and Pokemon fall under the same catagory which is Anime because they are animated but belong to diffrent genres.

So Anime is the animation thats either a TV series or a film and Manga is the drawen form serialised in Magazines.

Maybe your friend specialises better in culture rather then entertainment.

(And Yaoi is cool)
