I'm currently working on the manifesto. after I'm done reading it what's next? whats an other book to read? Is there a more updated version of the manifesto? or like a new chapter or something? what about an easier book to read. like.. "communism for dummies" LOL

I was going to say "Capital" of Marx, but that isn't such an easy book either. Maybe someone should write "Communism for Dummies" for you, because I don't think it does excist :P

even if it did exist i doubt it be accurate. anyways there has to be a more simple, elementary book out there. i just dont have the vocab or understanding yet. i gotta get to that level.

Maybe you should read a lot of Children-Books firts about a subject, before starting the main thing. I think that's the way you will understand it better, otherwise I don't know what you should/could do.

Marx for Beginners or Introducing Marx (same book) by Rius.

Wage-Labour & Capital by Karl Marx
Critique of the Gotha Program by Karl Marx

After that I would read some more hardy stuff like Capital, Volume I [read it slowly] and The Civil War in France [especially Chapter 5]. If you want to branch out from Marx and Engels I suggest you read either Lenin's State and Revolution or Rosa Luxemburg's Reform or Revolution.

It might help to read the books of Jean Jaques Rousseau that inspired Marx.

Read engles' principles of communism. Also read engles scientific socialism vs utopian socalism. Might want to try lenin's state and revolution as well.
