Does anyone read books of Michael Moore? Man.... I love them! The way he mixes humor and facts is just incredible! But the best of all is probably how he disses Bush :lol:

although he does have some decent ideas and does expose the truth on some things, if you don&#39;t let your audience know that you may be stretching some of the facts, it really fucks up your credibility :/

This is Bule Sh*t, if you read some of his books you&#39;ll know it is. If you would be aware of what he does for the poor, or how much he did en does for the Afro-Americans you wouldn&#39;t even look at this kind of topics. Just because he isn&#39;t a communist, he has got to be a "Capitalist Swine" or "Facist/Racist"? This is just sad.

Because if they would know this much, they should also at least have known that Michael Moore isn&#39;t even a Democrat&#33; In "Stupid White Men" he has writtin a whole chapter about the Democrats, that they are just as bad as the Republikins. He&#39;s just as good as any other reformist. With people like Michael Moore and Naomi Klein, you&#39;ve gotta take the good and leave the not so good.

There is some value to his movies and books, but I find them to be really sophomoric sometimes.

Michael Moore&#39;s stupid white men was one of te first political books I read a couple years ago. He&#39;s a good intro to more leftist thinking and is easy for younger people to read.

Yeah, Michael Moore has been discedited for putting falsities in his movies and books. It&#39;s good that he mixes in humour, but it becomes a problem when he lies, because people that cite his stuff will look really stupid.

Also, the other comrade is correct that he is basically a left-wing democrat. He is an "ameriKan at heart" and would definately falter on things when it comes to various revolutionary people&#39;s movements and such.

Naomi Klein (No Logo) or Linda McQuaig (All You Can Eat) are better introductions for people totally new to leftist economics and thinking.
