Hi, I just wanted to introduce myself i've been reading things posted in this site and i finally decided to join :D , i'm from Mexico, but i'm living in Canada (Quebec to be exact)... right now, I'm really interested in the Zapatist movement... and trying to learn a little bit more about communism (well, actualy more about troskism, lenism, stalinism, etc etc.), antifa and anarchism(my knowledge about anarchism is very limited compared to what i know about communism and socialism) as well sooo... that's about it, thanks for reading :)

Welcome to RevLeft...may ur stay be long and informative
I too am a supporter of the Zapatistas and of their struggle

I sure hope "la otra campana" will make a change, even if the three candidates for president are all the same shit (or almost), maybe the presence of the Zapatistas will help balance thigs... we'll see

^Yeah, mos def
All 3 of those "rateros" are gonna do absolutely nothing for Mexico and its ppl, well maybe not nothing, they might steal a couple of million pesos like Salinas
Im still perplexed how some Mexicans put up with the garbage coming from the PRI, PAN, and the PRD
Blame nationalism I guess

Me too!!! but I don't think it's so much nationalisim ( if it was the case my guess is that it would be completely different) , I blame it on a mixture of fear, poverty and ignorance (direct result of colonialism) . And in other cases (the burgeois (sp?) it's more self interest and classism ( does that word exist in english?).
