the squid and the whale is in my top10 favorite movies of all time. its an amazing film about children going through their parents divorce and how they cope. all the characters are so multi-dimensional, it is impossible to not relate to them in some way. the movie makes you laugh, cry, and everything inbetween

great film. My girlfriend's parents are divorced and we had to keep on pausing the movie because she saw so many parallels to her own experience she had to talk about it right then and there.
