HELL NO! as a Mexican citizen. I do not want this. I don't like the idea and I fear that it will come true. I keep hearing talks about this from U.S. media sources what does the U.S. want out of this that it hasn't already taken from Mexico. When i went to Canada I had a few conversations with some people there and they also don't seem to keen of the U.S. and their Policies. so why would Canada and Mexico do what the U.S. says?

I guess it depends on who gets elected president for mexico. I have no idea why but I have some hope for Lopez Obrador. he just seems like he might do something about it. get mexico out NAFTA or atleast take some sections out of it and re-nationalize some of our industries. so he said on an interview.

How about a Latino American Union? Mexico,Venezuela,Argentina,Brasil are probably the top 4 countries with the best economies in South America this guys can come together and bring up other countries in Latin America open up our borders and trade amongst each other with out the U.S. ass raping the resources. get them fucks ou!

How about a Latino American Union?

Many people, like Che, have been trying to accomplish this dream of ours of a united Latin America. But again the imperialist also know this and will go into any extent to keep us divided.

Though I would like for him to win the election; the thing that worries me is how he talks about his mass public works projects and other social programs. Don't get me wrong, those are things mexico needs, but all that cost money; which mexico doesn't have. She's in debt and we have seen time and time again how after every election in mexico there's a economic crisis due to poor administration and bad economic fiscal.

How about forgetting nationalistic bullshit and begin concentrating along the lines of one international working class movement?

The only chance the working class has, is as a unified movement. Organization along national boundries has proven to be a dismal failure that always degenerates into reformist policies that stifles actual revolutionary change.

What you're advocating is just capitalism organized along ethnic and cultural lines.

Well eventually I'd like for them to become socialist, and in route to communism.

I guess I'm confused. I haven't heard any plan along these lines. I suppose NAFTA is somehow similiar, but only along economic lines. I don't think you'll ever see anything like this, primarily because nationalism is such a powerful tool for dividing the working class up and setting us up against each other.

The conditions of the bourgeoisie in these three countries is too different for them to become one. Better to use NAFTA-like treaties to screw the working class multinationally.

I heard some comments about how this will reduce the ilegal immigrants coming into the U.S.A. because the borders will be open and they can regulate better and provide the jobs accordingly. if you look on the web im sure you can find some info. im not that great at recalling.

an other thing that pisses me off is when co-workers tell me "why doesn't the US just buy mexico?"

As a Canadian my advise for all mexicans is fight this to the death. Canada has been fucked so bad by the North American Free Trade Agreement. The Western Provencis especilly loss billions a year to the states. Any knid of North American Union would solely benifit the states and the elite upper class in Canada/Mexico.
