I think that the political climate in the United States at the current time gives us a great opportunity to bring people who are already upset with the way things are going and bringing them to leftist ideas. Many mainstream people are upset with war, with political lies and deceit, and with the way that large corporations distort democracy.

I think it is very important that we seize this opportunity and use it to bring people further to the left. If we fail to act, they will simply flock to the Democratic party, which is of course essentially the same as the Republicans. The Democrats will launch a congressional investigation or another, and people will think that the system is reforming itself, when it is in fact not changing at all. We must expose this to people now, so that when it happens they too will lose faith in the political situation that we have in the US.

I try to visit a few blogs per day and give my opinion to those people who are in general supportive of the Democrats, because these are the people that we can possibly reach. People who support the Republicans are pretty much a waste of time in my opinion.

Do many of you attempt to convince others of the correctness of your views, or do you only discuss things with those with the same views as yourself?

I do try to speak to those who do not embrace leftist causes. Most people who call themselves democrats are more likely to see my views as lagitimate. Many republican types are just too brain washed. It is hard to reason some one out of something they were not reasoned into in the first place.
I do have to give repoblican leadership some credit. they have a grip on the irationality of most people. They can play on the fears of people and spin and duck well. They are geniuses at their game.
The average republican, and the average Democrat are nothing like their leadership. Democrat leadership play to the left whyle still in the pocket of corporate america, whyle Republican leadership plays to the radical lunatic fringe fundamentalist at thye same time breaking every comandment on the books. It is all quite nausiating.
Just a side note.....B#.
