Where Is It All Stored?

Im in a bit of a question asking mood :lol:

Iv always wondered where all the stuff on the internet is stored?

Like all the websites, images and all that.

Servers are spread out all over the place. A server is just like a computer thing with a bunch of hard drives.

But what about photobucket and things like that with hundreds of thousands of members and millions of images - and for free.

There must be some amount of hard drives, rooms full.
