There is pictures on quite a few of the nine pages, some of them are comparisons to Russia and South Korea even, just check out each page and browse for the pics.
For the discussion itself, I don't agree with most of what is being said, I'm purely interested in the photographs. But you can believe what you want, I just wanted to share the pics.
For the record, I was given that link from a different forum, I don't waste my time on military sites... :D

I knew of the poor conditions in many of the less developed capitalist countries.
Frankly I am more amazed by the stupidity of most of the comments.
The thing is, the people in PDRK have no choice to where they live, or way to improve there life style and no matter what they do as far as education, they have more of the same. With the people in the slums in the US it is a completely different story. Depending on there ambitions to brake the cycle, they can go as far as there abilities and ambitions allow. There is no free ride.
I will take choice any time.
This is wrong, because there is class division in North Korea as well as in the US. As you could see from the pictures, there was "sorta" fancy houses, as well as giant slum shitholes.

After looking at those pictures something that stuck out most was the massive personality cult that Kim Jong-il has built for himself.

Everytime i see so called secret pictures from North Korea, im actually impressed that a third world country has done so much under such imperialist agression.
Also some of the comments under the picture i don't believe, it seems like he is trying to guess what is happening in the picture.

This is very true, the captions should not be taken as 'objective' sources on what is actually happening in the photos presented - nevertheless its doubtful that everything he states is a 'lie' - and in some cases looking at the pictures a lone, without the caption, can say a lot about the state of NK society.

Heres a thought, Until you see it first hand dont fucking judge, I really dont understand how people can judge a nation and its people based on shit they read or pictures they see.
I have been to North Korea and was through the country side where all this so called famine happened, I saw nothing of the sort , and we were given pretty big tours.

Okay, since you've been to NK perhaps you can answer me a question?
Is NK controlled by workers or a dictator?

Because very, very, very few foreigners are allowed into the country. Even if he did go to NK, of course he wouldn't see any famine, his guides wouldn't let him see any of that.

I registered at the forums to tell them the difference between a Juche system and communism, but:
s3rna, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:
1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

Seriously, those pictures of Detroit was among the worst shit I've ever seen.
I've seen stone-age level villages in "crappy" Africa that looked better... Good ol' Dubya should really try to steer things up at home before he goes on crusade in the Middle-east.
Has anyone thought that North Korea would be a far more prosperous place if it had been reunited with the South during the Korean war? From what I've heard the northern half of the Korean peninsula consists mostly of mountains, which can't be used (or are bad) for farming.
