The mayor of the town has changed Guarda Municipal to Brigada Municipal - Ernesto Che Guevara. Patrol boats on the river and on the trains are now covered with a big picture of Che on the arm.
The mayor also changed the name of the main street in the city to Ernesto Che Guevara. That was the first thing he did.
And now followed by lots of statues of Arafat, Fidel and Che.
