Can I please have some info on South Africa and aparthied. What it's like now, has it improved? who is the current president? Pop. Black and White? GNP? anything else you think usefull would be good as well.

post-apartheid SA is to say it politely, in ruins, however that said apartheid was terrible and the ethnics in SA have more rights

Don't know the exact figures on population, but I know that the black population grossly outnumbers the white. Nelson Mandela is president, and while the economic situation is probably bad (like every other African nation) there are a lot more civil liberties available to the native population than before aparhied's end.

Mandela hasn't been president since 2000, so thats why i needed to know. Oh well any more hard facts on it?

SA is clearly falling apart, for a reason I believe is a problem in most parts of Africa. The native people, not being under the thumbs of Europeans realize "Hey, we are different tribes and forced to share odd borders!"
