Has anyone read this book? From reading bits of it online recently, it seems pretty good. It was published some time ago, and im not sure how it us looked upon on today, but so far it seems like a good read on United states history.

Beard was one of the greatest and most influential historians in American history. One of the founding fathers of the "progressive" school. However, today his work is really outdated. He is respected as one of the pioneers of history, and the bare bones of much of his analysis has become accepted as true. However, many of his ideas have been radically revised or disproven.
