What exactly do you want to know? Read a biography for a general look at Che's life.

Handy links would probably be the Che forum (http://www.revolutionaryleft.com/index.php?showforum=3) or www.che-lives.com

Yeah, either read an objective biography on him or maybe Wikipedia him for starters.

Also, most of the rumors that you may have heard about him are probably addressed in the Che subforum in History.

If you're looking for a good biography to start reading, I recomend the John Lee Anderson biography. Awesome book!!

Happy to know you purchased it. It's one of (if not) the best biography of Che out there.

Very good biography indeed. Most of the rumors you hear about Che will probably be bias. The people that say he murdered INNOCENT people are lying. He eliminated the enemy, which was Fulgencio Batista's men. He did sign a few hundred death warrants, but like i've said before, he did what he had to do to preserve the Cuban revolution, and he did a pretty damn good job.

Now here is one thing I need to clear out, I can't stand these people who claim to be leftist but say that Che was a bad man because he had a few hundred people (who were the enemy) sent to the firing squads. You are supposed to be Leftist, not a couple of fucking pro-lifers.

Che presided over public trials and it was usually the people who called for the executions.

We shouldn't shed a tear if reactionaries die if that's what you mean but we're not totally anti-life. The term pro-life applies more to abortions, etc.

I know the people were the ones who called for the executions and he SENT them. Some people weren't sent to the firing squads, even if the people wanted to. The most famous case is the Matos trial, the people wanted him dead, Raul Castro wanted him dead, and Che himself wanted him dead, but Castro didn't send him to the firing squads (even though we all know he should have). What i'm saying is that Che made the final decision to send them.

What i'm trying to say about the "pro-lifers" is that some of these people act like they are in some type of human rights organization. Those are the type of people that wouldn't pick up a machine gun because they would be killing too many people.
