I love the blend of comedy and enlightening discussion in this film/performance.
I do think he is rather pessimistic about peak oil, though. I used to be a doomer like him, but I think we are finding enough oil to keep that going for some time, and fusion power research seems to be coming along rather nicely. (And then there are always renewables, like he mentions (well, fusion power might as well be considered "renewable.") The whole "hydrogen economy" really is a pipedream, though. I'm glad he points that out.
Wow, I never knew the first British action of WWI was to send 50 divisions storming into Iraq! :o Hmmmm... :blink:
On the whole good by I disagree when he said Britain is unique in their are ignorant to their own history, most people are ignorant to their own history.

I watched it last night. Very funny and slightly informative. The carnal being used as fertilizer was the best part. ROLFL
Then he went into some peak oil crazyness. That was kinda dissapointing.
